You should hold off for now. The Wii is the perfect platform for this kinda stuff.

MS is TRYING to appeal to a market that doesnt care to be catered to by a US Co. Point blank.

They are fighting a losing battle in Japan but thier efforts IMO are to be commended.

But at the end of the day Eternal Sonata will most likely sale way better on the PS3 once its released in JPN simply because Sony is in the region.

Late October Sir. This game was cool on the 360 I expect it to be good here as well given what ItsDubC said: tight control.

But the fact that Sega cant even come correct on something as str8 forward as Sonic leaves me to question how will they come with it on projects as grand as this. Heres hoping they do tho because the scans are top and they could garner a lil redemption if its good.

Sh!t, im hoping they dont botch Nights for the Wii

looking to cash in. Smart move.

Yup. Its hasnt been the best year for Sony but I'll admit getting a PS3, Heavenly Sword and Drake:Uncharted late in the year will make for a happy holiday season for a alot of gamers.

@NeoGeo- Halo3 is about to rape the rest of 2007 bud. Halo isnt my cup of tea but logic is.

1.) I'm glad I dont have to wait 6 years for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resident Evil 5. Konami and Capcom havent been complaining about the PS3 tech and look to be making some awsome use of it very early on. So I'm not worried about AAA games arriving on PS3 in 08 and beyond.

2.)Kaz should have chosen his words more carefully. The PS3 is in a vunerable spot already. HS is a awsome IP but hendered from being way too short so reviews hurt that. Lair is a visual feat but has failed t...

They have bent over backwards for Japanese Gamers. They have pretty much pulled out all the stops they can pull. The Bottom line is Japanese tend to be loyal to their culture and like to invest mainly in thier own ecosystem. So not to many Gamers there will ever give the 360 the time of day regardless of what MS does to appeal to them.

Trusty Bell(Eternal Sonata) didnt sale well at all over there for 360. I'm waiting to see how well it does once its released on PS3 over there. ...

to combat Halo 3. AS far as I see it, all Sony has to do is survive Microsofts' perfect Storm for the remainder of this year and then get busy in 08. Halo3 is gonna kick some serious ass though the remainder of 2007. Atleast the worse will be over for Sony as far as 360 Blockbuster games go. Sony really need to set a staedy price for the PS3 and stop messing around in the 500 and 600 dollar price tags. They seriously need to get competive in PRICE and in CONTENT. ASAP!

In all honesty, it wouldnt suprise me one bit if Tekken 6 showed up on 360 and furthermore, even if it did I wouldnt mind. I think a great game should be exposed to as many people as possible. I'm not one of these guys who are so delusional to think that ANY company cares more about exclusitivity to one company over profit.

Some guys on here want things to be exclusive for their system sOoOOooO bad that they literally ignore and fail to pay attention the facts. Its hilarious to...

I doubt if they sale well enough for them not to be ported. With MS user base being as small as it is in Japan and considering how Westerners have already turned thier noses up at Blue Dragon and expressed thier dislike for JRPG's... I'm sure that wont go unoticed by Namco Bandai.

They will be exclusive for a limited amoount of time. I'm 97% sure

Agreed. But you know how things are here at N4G

Dude ES will be on 360 and PS3. If it werent in the works it would have never appeared on the site. being as tho ES and Katamari are time exclusive for Xbox360 they had to take it down. MS paid to have them exclusive for a set amount of time so Banco is bound by contract to let the 360 versions shine and keep the PS3 versions in the dark until said MS exclusive timeframe expires.

Cheer Up!

2 late. They only did that because MS has them for an exclusive time but they are coming. Trust.

say the Wii is ruining the industry, this slap in the face is for you.

Its the success of the Wii thats making it waaaaaaaay financially easier for 3rd parties to create all these block buster titles for 360 and PS3. You guys hate Nintendo, when in reality you should be thanking them because without them, ALOT of the titles that we are looking forward to playing on our graphic-horses wouldnt be seeing the light of day if it wasnt for the Wii.

Thank You Nintendo f...

I also think that it could have fit on XBL but if I made something that looked like that I wouldnt want it to amongst XBL content anyways. IMO the game looks to good to be among mini arcade games and rehashes. I miss quality 2D Side Scrollers and to have a fresh new IP on the horizon is a breath of fresh air.

Who wouldnt want to have their game pressed up and published opposed to being to being tossed into a pile of mediocre dlc? Who wouldnt have their game sale for 5 bucks vs ...

I see. Well, I guess they had no choice but to make it multi-plat. It looks great and the demo is well done for 360 but its already taking flack from game critics for being so short(for a RPG).

6853d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

but interesting none the less. This game could have possibly increased 360 in Japan by a slight margain but now that its multi-plat it wont be as significant unless theres a huge seperation between the release dates.

I'm also wondering if it has anyting to do with how stand-offish Westerners were toward Blue Dragon. Banco could have taken the wait and see approach to see how Americans are responding to JRPG's and took it from there. But... something tells me thats not the case
